While driving through Riverside we got a good look at some brush fires, reservoirs, and a taste of the Southern California desert heat. The Expedition got off to a good start as we made our way to Redding, CA with all the supplies on board for 10 days on the river. Tomorrow we begin the journey from Dunsmuir along the Sacramento River.
